Gopherfest- First weekend in June
A weekend to test your shotgun (or archery skills) on the pests!
Sinclair station has a list of ranches for hunters to go, help these locals out. Family event with prizes for the most tails, raffle for a grand prize.
Proceeds fund the Lima outdoor pool.

Poker Run- Late June
Huge side-by-side race testing all levels of competency on the backroads! Large loop through the mountains and valleys, creeks, and gravel roads- created by locals.
The 2026 run totaled 90 miles with 5 stops. At each stop there is a game to test your skills. Best poker hand wins the grand prize. Live music, games, and barbeque to follow.
Proceeds support Lima's Volunteer Fire Department.
4th of July Weekend!!
4th of July festivities begin with a pancake breakfast at the fire station followed by a car show at the Peat Saloon.
Watch the town parade with a variety of vehicles from mule train to snowplows. Stop in for the community lunch at the park with kid's games.
